Ice Gripper to walk on ice and snow flooring

On 17th January 1996, I was on my first trip to Bejing... It did not strike my mind that I will be witnessing my first snow claded Asian city - Bejing at that ! I was not prepared for the weather as I was to spent one night
there and then fly off to Jinan city the next morning. I put on a jacket, was in my leather shoes.. hopped onto the subway train and headed for my first visit to TianAnMen. The scene that greeted me was like what you viewed here, a huge spread of whiteness covered the entire square and people streaming up and down taking pictures, a long queue was formed to visit the Memorial Hall where Mao Zi Dong was embalmed. I could not take the coldness and soon have to purchase a woollen glove for my hands which are getting cold bite and into numbness. The difficult part was having to walk carefully as I risked sliding and falling with my slippery leather sole on hardened snow floor.
After that trip, I had time and wanted to understand how people who live in winter zone go about their walks. It brought my attention to the ICE GRIPPER (above right picture) which I ordered 2 pairs for just incase I had to move in snow board again. I like them as it is such a simple design yet gave sure footing to whatever shoes you may put on. I did not have the chance to put them on as I did not have to travel again there during the winter season for that business. So I think I should put these up here and sell it to whoever have a justified need for them... I forgot how much the cost and freight when I courier them in from Canada ( only to find that it is make in China...as is the story for most product made under brand name licensee).
Taker, please pay me S$20.00 for each pair...(I think I had paid more than these). I have two pairs.. in excellent condition as the rubber straps are still great for making catapult fling!! if you are not wearing it.

Couple bears with a purpose...

What a bearily couple poised for their wedding shot! They were together since their creator factory matched them as a pair. They stand at about 4.5" (12cm). They had a purpose on earth, they came to serve couple walking down the wedding altar... Each witnessing guest to the wedding or their feast went away remembering the Groom & Bride as they are given a pair of this furry animal.
Yes, I supplied to wedding couples such couple bears as a wedding favor gift-away... Some packed them in a nice looking box with chocolates thrown in... some with a thinly veiled oganza pouch... some with a nice poem to go along.
These bears come in a pair and with various designs of gowns and coats. These 4.5" bear cost $4.50 per pair. There are smaller one of 2.5"(6.5cm) costing $2.50 per pair. So, if you need to help some couples to plan their gift away... consider them. Early ordering is neccesary as I do not keep hundreds of these couple bears with me. I can spare samples if you need to show and tell ( need to pay before you book them out).

Burn In flowery motiff on vases and jug

Pictured polishing these vases
and jug by crumpled newspaper... then fill the jug with crystal clean drinking water, placed it on your breakfast table with the morning sunray shining through your room... Fill up the vases with water and decor it with fresh flowers... It is beautiful and a colorful world awaiting you each morning as you are brighten up by these colorful motiffs adorning your breakfast table, working den...
The best things is that you do not burn a hole in your pockets to keep them. They are burned and blown from a China glassery and unlike artistic pieces from Italy... This does not cost a few hundred bucks each. I brought them in for some of my florist friends and they put it to good use although one of them rejected it saying that it stole the limelight from her floral arrangement ?! Anyway you have to see the real thing to appreciate that it is not stickers paste-0n but motiff that are burned and nealed onto the glass surfaces and it is an decor piece by itself.
There costs $35, $19, and $29.00 each from left to right. Once it is gone, I might no longer get it again as it is a batch production only from the glass work.
Email me at singaporegiftshop@yahoo.com if you think you want to own a piece or two.

Event organisers need balloon pump

This is a useful piece of electrical appliance that an event organiser would need... To blow up
1... 2... or even a dozen of rubberised balloons is fine for the chap with a inflatable lung... But not when you are having a event when you requires hundreds of these balloons by a certain timing!!!
An event company first approached me and I got them some models like those shown on the left. It works out well for them and now each 1 or 2 months,, they placed an order of 5 to 10 pieces with me to bring them in.
It is pretty simple to operate. Once you switched on the electrical supply of AC230V; there is these 2 blow tubes here which can be slightly depressed. You capped the balloon opening onto the tube, depressed it together with the feeling grips of your thumb and fingers, it activates the electric motor blower and air is blown up to inflate your balloon is a snap of less than 3 seconds... You have to be quick and agile to remove it once your desired balloon size is achieved. You will get a hang of it once you blew up a few of the balloons.
These are going now at $95 each... nett. You can get a discount if you are going to take from me regularly with a minimum order of 4 pieces like what this event organiser is doing. They are selling it as regularly as they had bought it from me... believing that they have a attractive margin too... I had not checked where and who is selling it locally and at what price???

Paper Wine Bag good for presenting a bottle of wine...ofcourse!...what else?

These are traditional paper wine bags with motiffs and colors suitable for the occasion of handling up a bottle of wine for who ever you deem fit to have a proper wrapping... It adds value and grandious to the eyes. Make one wondering which vineyard it is from and how much Euro$ worth of the red stuff was your gift to the host...
All it takes to do the job is a S$1.00 bag from me. You may get it cheaper else where but go and search for it... I have a hundred of them in the designs and colors you see here.
How I end up with these bags is that a novelty shop asked me to bring it in and there after they told me their demand for it is low... So, I kept it to myself and use it... and I am sharing it with bloggers here... Cheer!!!

Pre-loved steel filing cabinets

I learned the word "Pre loved" from a recycling group to describe things that are used or old... so that it does sound soothing to those who are going to use the recyled item... Why not? when the item is new, a premium price is paid for it... and now when it had been used... the depreciation factor came in.
There are 7 of them, but I had already sold 1 piece off. They are in good condition and there are no rusty rollers etc. To those who appreciate its usefulness, it is a grab item to expand your storage space for files, documents or gritty nitty items as it have a steel base for each drawers.
The composition that I took this picture is with drawn out drawers so that you can visualise what this cabinet are...( some earthlings have problem seeing each individual cabinet if they are neatly closed and aligned in a straight row... believe me).
The cost of this is at $70 each. Transport not included. A van could tuck them back nicely. The back boot of a sedan car could take out with a third of it sticking out... but not a big problem if we take it out on night drive and running a short distance. These have to be picked up from Woodland estate.
Let me know before it is gone.

Costume Jewellry boxes

These are costume jewellry boxes which I brought in and still regularly does...

It is in textured colored paper and quality is commendable except when the humidity in China affects its drying time... as the glue takes a certain curing time to dry well inorder that moisture are not trapped inside.
Over times, the trapped moisture will turned into those whitish fungi mould which you saw on some boxes... especially velvet material. Nonetheless, just wipe it off with a dry cloth and air it. It will last another couple of years.
I should provide you a picture of what is inside if you asked me. It had a sponge set which can hold necklance, earpieces, rings. Of course, the bigger one have more spaces.

There are 4 sizes of here; The biggest one in descending order are 16cm x 13cm; 13cm x 11cm; 10cm x 8cm; 8cm x 6.5cm;
The prices are now at $2.50; 2.00cts; 1.00cts; and 0.80cts each for loose quantity, and self collection in town area.

Color choice are assorted as above in picture. If you are like to have a single color choice, then the factory will need 100pcs to make it... or if I am lucky that they have the colors in stock, we can bring it in... then we have to contend to see when the sea shipment can meet your desired date. Further more, for a token sum, and an order of 500pcs, we can print your name and logo to it. Sound great and personal... right?
